Acknowledge – take time to look at your life and how you are feeling. Being honest with yourself can be the most difficult part but you have to notice what areas of your life you are neglecting.
Examine – What areas of your life do you wish were more balanced.
Set Goals – Look at the outline to help you decide which ways you want to balance your life. Make a list.
Plan Tasks – Make a list of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks that you will need to do to achieve each of these goals. What have you tried in the past? Did it work? If not, what can you do differently?
Reflect – What is the most important thing you’ve accomplished in the past? How did it make you feel and how did you stay focus to achieve that goal? How was your self-talk along the way – were you strong or did you doubt yourself?
Prepare – You have the fear and worry that you will fail. But what is the self-talk that will push you through or what will you do to push you through? [Such as – I will only have one more bit or laying out your workout clothes so they are ready to go in the morning.]
Empower – Be kind to yourself. Balance won’t feel good if you’re cruel to yourself in creating it!
Connect – Who is your supportive person? Connect with someone to share your motivation or focus. Find someone who can challenge your inner demons and also help you cheer on your accomplishments.
Plan – This will take time and effort to over come your habitual patterns and create new ones. Just stay on track – you are an awesome person and you got this!
