How does trumi work?

There are 5 components to the Trumi Transformation program:

  • Assessment: When you first meet with your Trumi coach, they will spend time getting to know you and what you’re looking for from the program. Then, you will complete a “True Me” assessment, where we’ll learn about your nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle history. Your initial assessment is the cornerstone by which we can build a personalized roadmap for your health transformation. There are monthly reassessments to track your progress.
  • Training: Then, you’ll join a group training team where you’ll exercise 1 hour per day, 4 days per week, for a minimum of 12 weeks (1 course).  Or, virtual clients  will get a customized program for your personal goal.
  • Health Coaching: You will receive 1 hour of combined group and 1-on-1 health coaching each month to help you stay on track with your personal goals.  Virtual clients will talk to their coach 15 minutes weekly and correspond via email as often as needed.
  • Ongoing Education: to help you make lifelong changes, you will receive weekly health education newsletters and, if you are local, you’ll have the opportunity to attend grocery store tours and healthy “tasting” get-togethers each quarter.
  • Support: Your team and coach will provide the encouragement, support, and accountability you need!

Most fitness programs choose one lane; they focus on fitness or nutrition, or one area of wellness – but let’s face it, your body (and mind) is complex and needs multiple facets of support. trumi combines everything so that it’s a one-stop shop for your health. We simplify the madness, so you don’t have to wander around looking for the “right” method for your health.

What will trumi do for me? (What kind of results can I expect?)

Everyone’s results are different, because everyone has different goals to begin with. We tailor your program to meet your specific goals and needs! That said, our clients report losing weight, increasing energy, gaining strength, and feeling more confidence overall. Many also report drastic changes in their medical condition; such as decreased blood pressure, lowered cholesterol, decreased or eliminating medication load (from anti-depressants to diabetes medication), decreased/eliminated joint and muscle pain.

What if I've never exercised before, or it has been years, can I still do the workouts?

If you have a heartbeat and enough inertia to start, you’ll be able to do these workouts. We teach all of our programming to 3 fitness levels at all times; We can even show variations for people that have injuries and medical conditions, or higher levels for athletes or performance-driven individuals. Whether you are participating virtually or in our live programming we’ll be sure to start you at the right place.

What age groups does the trumi program cater to?

Our signature program is for adults 18-60. We also offer programming for kids and seniors. Our ReNu (60+) Training program is much like our signature program, just geared differently to support reconditioning muscles and balance. Our Troopers (6-12) Training program helps kids develop a firm foundation of health. They build self-esteem, have fun and sweat; all while supporting each other.

Do I have to attend the assigned workouts to participate?

The live programming; 4 days, 1 hour per session regimen is based on the surgeon general’s recommendation on exercise, which concludes that all adults should have at least 240 minutes (4 hours) of a mixture between strength, and cardio exercise each week! Because we want you to get the most out of the program, we ask all participants to follow the full course. That said, we understand that “life happens” and sometimes you’re sick, go out of town, or just can’t make all 4 days…we offer virtual options to keep you progressing.  Our virtual clients will have customized programming based on their initial consultation to perfectly fit their goals…always working towards peak health and fitness.

What if I have an injury or pre-existing health condition, can I still participate in trumi?

Accidents and sickness happen, that’s a reality of life. If your doctor says it’s okay, then it’s okay for us! Tell your coach more about your injury or ailment and they can construct options that will allow you to keep up with your fitness goals while you’re healing!

What foods do I need to eat? Do I need to buy prepackaged food?

Most programs are designed around “Calories in, calories out” concepts – which require you to track your calories or eat prepackaged foods. The great thing about trumi is that you don’t have to count points or eat pre-packaged foods. trumi focuses on teaching you (and your body) to eat food that helps your body self-regulate. We teach you skills to understand your perfect portions, how to eat in balance, and maximize your metabolism.

Is trumi safe for me?

Most fitness and nutrition programs are unguided and unregulated, whether you’re going to a gym or following an online diet program; without guided support, safety can always be a concern. At trumi, you have a coach and a team that is with you every step of the way. You’re never alone, and that’s safety 101!

How much does it cost? How do I pay?

Our 12-week training course varies slightly from location to location, primarily indicated by demographics. However, our program typically costs more than DIY (do it yourself) fitness facilities, but a fraction of the cost of 1-on-1 personal training. Keep in mind; trumi combines nutrition, training, meditation, and health coaching all in one comprehensive program – so the value stands apart from the rest!  Our virtual clients can choose two options unlimited classes for $4.95 biweekly or unlimited classes plus weekly coaching for $59 biweekly.

Are all the live workouts outdoors?

We want your workout environment to be as natural as the food we’re teaching you to eat! Your body craves sun, fresh air, and yes…grass and dirt! Studies show time and again, that just being outside can increase your overall health. With that said, cold and snowy winters and inclement weather do happen in certain parts of the world, so our programs move inside during those days or months as necessary.  Virtual classes can be anywhere from your living room to your back yard.  The most accessible option for those that need maximum flexibility. 

Can I just attend the trumi workouts, and skip the wellness coaching and education?

At trumi, we believe that your overall health is more of a journey than a destination. Our program is built on coaching that empowers you for long-term healthy living. We find that trumi participants are not just looking for a workout, but a support system to help them stay active. Some will do just 1 course, some will do several courses and many make trumi part of their fitness lifestyle! While separating the coaching from the program is not an option, we’re confident that we can find new areas to improve your overall health for many years to come.

What if I'm already fit, can trumi still help me?

The trumi Training curriculum is taught to multiple exercise levels, so novice beginners can be on the same team with experienced athletes. Also, since trumi is a “Total health” program, there are other aspects to health that you may need support with. For instance, maybe you’re at your goal weight, but you’re not at your goal strength. Or, maybe your nutrition and overall physical health is good, but you still feel worn out, stressed and/or you have pain in one or multiple joints. There are many different facets to health, so there are many different ways we can help you!

Can trumi help me gain muscle?

One of the core functions of the trumi program is to develop muscle to increase metabolic endurance and to eat foods that promote muscle growth along with a balanced nutrition profile. Our trumi coaches are both certified trumi trainers and personal trainers. Each one has different skill sets, but they all understand how to develop muscle on the body. Talk to your coach in your area about your training goals and they can tell you “how” they can help!

How often are WB ON DEMAND classes updated?

WELLBEATS produces all of their own programming to best meet the needs of our diverse populations and give participants more of what they love. They release new classes at a minimum of three times per year. These classes could be updates in an existing channel, or a new channel all together. As long as your system is connected to the internet, these updates take place automatically.
